The Poway Knights of Columbus Council #6031 is an energized group of men committed to giving back to their community and their Parish. The site that was previously in place was built in the prior decade, and missed all of the elements required for mobile optimization and utility. In order to sign up volunteers, the member of this charitable organization never even visited the website – they went to another site. This was remedied by the new, engaging responsive website I built. All verbiage, strategic goal messaging and choice of images was under my control. The volunteer sign up forms are easily managed and published via the back end Editor. In addition, shop items now appear on the site, including dues payments online. Further to this, a complete listing of officers with bios now gives a friendly face to the Poway Knights, and a vital calendar and event listing component was added. Essentially, this was a build from scratch, accomplished in three weeks!
This project also evolved to include support services for maintenance.
